Dr. Counts is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a wellness practice located in the Upper Valley area of Vermont and New Hampshire. She utilizes a mind,
body and spirit approach to healing. Dr. Counts received
her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wright State
University and her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical
Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She has been practicing in the Dayton area since 1996. In addition
to her private practice she is an adjunct professor in the
Department of Psychology at Wright State University.
Dr. Counts has worked in a variety of settings and has
specialized in trauma and abuse, relationship issues,
health psychology, women’s issues, adolescence, GLBT,
life transitions and grief counseling.
She has specialty training in guided imagery, EMDR, EFT,
hypnosis, past life regression and using intuition to heal. Her current passion
involves integrating holistic and alternative approaches to
health and healing with psychology.
Dr. Counts has changed her practice from a traditional
therapy model that focuses on problems and diagnosis to
a coaching model that builds upon a person’s strengths to
help them reach their full potential in life.
